Calgary November Meeting - Monday, November 20th

Glad you enjoyed them, Vertiate They're fun to make and eat! Have to really concentrate tonight as I'm icing the R2D2 cake I baked last night for my friends birthday tomorrow. He dressed up as R2 for 5 years in a row when he was young (ages 5-10) so I thought he'd like it. I'll take a picture and post it - IF it turns out. The icing part is going to be tricky!

Glad to see so many make it out. We had a late arrival - Sheila dropped in to the meeting to check it out. But by the time she arrived, there was just the four of us left. We chatted for a bit and then had to go.

Dooks and Starkiller came over to my place afterwards to watch R2 bake and hang out. They'd never seen the Dressing the Galaxy book before so I hauled it out. They were so cute! You think us girls ooo-ed and aaaaa-ed when we looked at it. The boys were very excited to touch samples of Vader's robe, Anakin's tabards and Obi Wan's tunic. I love seeing so such happiness on people's faces .
