O.C, CA November meeting on Nov. 12th at Lampost Pizza in Orange 3pm

Heya all were going to be at a little change of Pace for this month going back to our old Location at Lampost Pizza in Orange the address is 1829 E Chapman ave orange Ca

I almost added with the map, along with the newbie comment, "And for the oldsters who have forgotten where it was."

We left Lamppost because our group was getting too large for that private room we used to use.

But now that people have left, we are a smaller group again, with mostly just the hard core members, so we ought to fit again, if we can reserve it.

Plus, as Rion pointed out, it's quieter than Fuddruckers where we'd been meeting for a while.

And why the heck do we have a Valentine's Day banner on this forum now? It's not even a Halloween one.

 

ummm. wrong holiday ...Please... Please Please take the banner away...

 

I'm very glad to know that I'm not the only one that sees it! I questioned my sanity there for a bit. On the other hand, can you think of anything more horrifying?

 

Please remember dues [$2] are due and payable at the meeting. Those not paying will be upended by the Sgt-at-arms to see if anything [money] falls out! Just kidding....

I happen to win my fair share of trivia quizes. I believe if you review history, I have won more then anyone. Just like your perfect attendance Lori, my trivia dominance needs to be recognized.

Also, for those who want to practice for the miniatures tournament, we will be playing afterwards.

If you want to go in on pizza and drinks, be there early and we will determine what the price per person will be. Or you can get your own stuff.

 

Will we be having an officers meeting prior to the club meeting?

 

yes if the officers can get there alittle bit before hand that would be great i know there are some events coming up soon

I will do my best. I am not out of church until 2. Maybe we can have our meeting at shinai on wedensday since all the officers typically go there too.

 

yea we can do that too but i want to have one before to catch up like Carrie and Val who arent there weds

 

If I need to be there one a Wednesday that can be workable. I just go to the gym right after work. Oh and I have an awesome event I am working on for Dec 9th 2006... It's a Christmas party for a CHOC health center, Healthy Smiles for Kids low income dental clinic and Boys and Girls club of Garden Grove (they are all housed in one building in garden grove, i walked with them for CHOC walk and they invited us to their holiday party!)

and I think James is trying to coordinate a Toys for Tots event, I don't want to bog everyone down with cahritable events at a time when it's already hectic so some feedback would be great. (if we should just focut on 1, and if so which 1 is prefered, and who would be interested)
