For those of us not akin to the inner machinations of the Colorado Springs roadway system, can someone please clarify the Palmer Park/Academy Blvd route from say...the northern part of the state?

 

Sure. There is no easy way there. Stupid roads.
Option 1: Take the N. Academy exit and just stay on it until you get to Palmer Park. It's quite a way. When Academy splits (real wide median) then you have about three more lights to go to Palmer Park. Turn left (east) and it's on the East side of Academy.

Option 2: Take the Fillmore exit and head east. A distance down it will turn south (it becomes Circle). Just stay on it until you come to Palmer Park. Turn East again. Keep going until you cross Academy.

Option 3: Take the Uintah exit and go east. Palmer Park will veer off on the left a couple of miles down. Just stay on Palmer Park.

Sorry, but we really should have chosen some place closer to the Interstate or Powers. This is right in between the two. We'll know better next time.

We came, we saw, we ate. It was fun getting together and visiting for a bit. Thanks to everyone who drove so far.
Stacy, your costume pic looked great, can't wait to see it in person. And the Vader FX saber was very cool.
I'll try to get a final logo done by the January meeting.

Sorry I missed the meeting, guys. I was home with a sick son, and it totally slipped my mind.

I hope you felt a disturbance in the force when I realized that I missed it. It was as if a million voices cried out in terror, and were suddenly silenced. I knew something terrible had happened...I missed the meeting!
