....to start a new timetales/timeline chronological summery of everything in starwars canon in the vein of Chris McElroy and Michael Pott's force.net timetales which i followed avidly month after month and read with great enthusiasm.

In time it would become the new starwars source in terms of chronology.

Wookipedia is cool but you get to focus just on one character when reading about some person.

Okay, we've covered all the important stuff.

 

What's a duck?

 

Is it like a falcon?

 

Isn't it more likely an unknown alien race landed on the duck homeworld and then seeded them across the galaxy? Or perhaps ducks are their devolved descendants?

 

I'm just waiting until that volcano explodes on particular planets in 2million BBY just like we got with the EU timeline.

 

But it's just more funny if the Force, one day, just decided "Ducks. What this galaxy needs is ducks. Millions of ducks! Billions of ducks! Ducks EVERYWHERE! Mwahahaha!"

And the first Jedi were just like "the Duck side of the Force has made everything go out-of-whack, we must restore balance!" Then someone mistranslated Duck to Dark along the way, turning the Jedi away from their proud duck-hunting heritage.

 

That explains the Chosen One being found on a world with no ducks.

 

And he shall be called the Son of the Swans.

 

It is as was foretold in the Journal of the Quills.

Duck jokes aside, it'd be nice if there was some kind of collaborative timeline app to use for these kind of projects--downloadable PDFs and Word files are pretty old school.

What I'd really like to see is a side scrolling dual timeline with "new Canon" info on the top and optional "Legends" on the bottom--given how much of Legends is making its way into the new stuff, it would be interesting to compare the two. Plus the Legends timeline can finally be considered definitive.
