NR election

Ok to coincide with the Us presidential election we are going to have a fictional Cheif of state election. We will nominate the first 5 proposed candidates and then on midnight the 30th we will tally the votes and see who would win if we had the say.

 

I nominate Leia Organa Solo of Alderaan.

(btw im watching TPM right now to get SW overload, they just received the ambassadors.)

 

I would have nominated Elegos, but now he's dead, and I can't think of anyone else. Maybe I'll be back later with a nominee.

The only one of these that is more in the chief of state's duties and not military is Adumar and that turned into a military thing. Wedge as he says himself cannot play the game of politics and doesn't want to. He couldn't do it and even if he was nominated he would probably not accept since he doesn't want a position on the Senate much less the Chief of State.

did anyone else notice that in Ep. 1 Panaka said Bail Antilles of alderaan was nominated also, was this a screw up, it would make sense if it were really Bail Organa

 

How about former Admiral Ackbar? He is retired as a military admiral but he is a very good leader and I have a hunch that he could be good at politics
