Ha! 8th placed Warriors beat minor premiers Melbourne Storm yesterday in the first playoffs round. I guess the Sydney team's fans will have been happy to see that. Warriors home semi against the Roosters on Friday.

Quite the weekend of footy for us Kiwis, as the All Blacks beat Australia in Rugby Union to retain the Bledesloe Cup and Tri-Nations trophy.

    :D

I got more satisfaction from the Warriors shoving it up the Channel 9 commentators than I did them beating the Storm. Maybe next time they'll actually wait til the games at least half over before they start talking about next week's games.

Not that shocking; IIRC the Warriors are the team that have given the Storm the most trouble throughout the last 2 years or so. They beat them in Melbourne a couple of weeks ago and have been in excellent form. That said, Melbourne still should have won.

They should trash the Roosters. And I hope they do :p

How good would a Warriors v Storm rematch be?

Manly will take some beating though I feel.
