Nunb or Numb?

I know nowadays it's Nien Nunb, but I used to think it was Nien Numb. Why did I think that? Did they spell it wrong in books and stuff I used to read?

 

Oh dear. I thought it was Numb too...

 

I also thought it was Numb. Yesterday I found out it was Nunb. Boy, did I feel like an idiot!

On that note do we pronounce Nunb as Numb or some other way?

 

It's always been Nunb.

Don't confuse him with Ten Numb, another Sullustan who is in the movie.

 

I thought it was Niem.

 

What?! It's Nunb? This certainly is news to me, and he's always been one of my favorite characters! When he says "pteoti" just before him and Lando enter the Death Star cracks me up. And that face he makes right before the dish is knocked off the Falcon.

 

Like I said, his name has always been Nien Nunb.

 

Okay, Fortuna, where is the other Sullistan in the film?

Nunb. nb That's not a pronounceable consanant combination. Is it pronounced Nunba?

 

Just say "nun" and put a B on the end of it.
