Obi-one older than Palpatine??

Did I read this right? OB1 is 10 years older than Palpy, but yet, looks 20 years younger than him. According to the Star Wars time line, OB1 was born 60 years prior to ANH, and Palpatine was born, 50 years prior to ANH. Odd....

 

Obi-Wan is around 25 in TPM. Palpatine is around 50 in TPM.

 

What Star Wars timeline are you referencing?

It would seem fairly apparent in TPM and AOTC that Obi-Wan is much younger than Palpatine.

This is the site that the time line is on. I just know it can not be possible that he be older than Palpatine.

All I can say about that is that that timeline is obvously wrong.

I don't know how much I would trust that timeline. Accorind to it, Obi-Wan would be 28 at the time of TPM and Palpy 18.

 

Most stuff you read on the internet is wrong.

There was a guy who claimed he had the AOTC script years before it was released. It was alsmost completly wrong, so he kept changing it everytime a new spoiler got out, so he could claim he knew it all along. Even went to the extent of claiming he was invited to the Ranch and consulted with GL about the script. *rolls eyes*

Our lesson for the day: If it doesn't come from GL or a representative of LFL, then better to doubt it ESPECIALLY if the movies contradict it.

I wouldn't be surprised if it was Super Shadow but,Palp is not 18 in TPM and Obi-Wan is definatly younger than him

 

Yeah have you actually seen the movies? Obi-Wan is a padawan learner who is like 25 and Palpatine is a sith lord who is like 50 with wrinkles and white hair. That timeline is completely wrong.

Going by that timeline, at the age of 18 Palpatine assumed the role of Supreme Chancellor? Then started dabbling in the Dark Side a few years later?

I think he has it a tad confused. Obi-Wan is born 60 years before A New Hope. Palpatine is born around 50 years before The Phantom Menace.

 

Sure he's older if you consider younger to be older in a young>old type of way.
