Disney seem to be in a cancelling mood. TCW was the reason I returned to this fandom. (Though I can understand Disney's reasons from a business perspective, I don't like it one bit...)

 

One wonders if Satine even had a funeral; Maul may have just had her thrown into an incinerator or out into the barren wastes. Or - ooo, cruel thought for painful viggie - mmm, must think on that.

Always an authorial dilemma, I agree. From previous writing experience:
When Jenna Zan Arbor had him in her clutches in Lineage V, her mercenary Abloz suggested having the med droid glue Obi-Wan's teeth together, to prevent him from mouthing off. She didn't take him up on the suggestion, so the idea is still up for grabs.
Qui-Gon generally employs physical exhaustion as his preferred method. After twenty laps around the Temple perimeter, nobody has the energy to chatter your ear off.
Anakin, on the other hand, appears to prefer a more direct route: make Obi-Wan so incredibly vexed that even the lecturing splitters to a standstill. Of course, Anakin is the Chosen One and as such possibly the only living being to be able to render his master speechless.
Your ace in the hole, however, is simply to tell him that if he does not shut up, innocents will perish. Voila.

Enjoyed the posts...I mainly lurked this week, had a 50 hour week this week. I was so tired, I didn't have much time for anything else...working on my chapter in 5-10 minute snatches when I could this week ,
but now with the weekend off and no plans (I dont' think) of going anywhere, I should be able to get it posted today.

Ruth, I liked your suggestions...that was funny.

Poor Obi-Wan goes through such a mix of love and torment around here, I wonder if he's confused a bit...

 

He probably wonders why he still hangs around with us!

Woo hoo, it's Spring Break! Which means I can catch up on reading fanfic without the guilt of paper writing hanging over my head. Sometimes I feel bad about the things you writers put Ob-Wan through...then again, maybe not

 

Spring break... I have another week to go!

 

Oh no! Well, this is my first time on the quarter system, so without the break it's 20 straight weeks of classes...yikes!

 

But we always give him comfort and lovin, at the end. We never just kill him outright, or leave him locked in chains, suffering is good when you know there is cuddles at the end.
