Fanclub Obi-Wan Kenobi: v4 Fan Club a/k/a Appreciation Society

Yup! But I'd happily hand two or three days of my holidays over to Ruth Baulding to help her finish the stories.

Why can't they make a movie about Obi-Wan and Ventress? Torture, suspense, and a big rescue at the end of the day?

 

I know....her life has gotten crazy busy lately....I thought I never see Ruth Baulding's stories go so long without updates....but she is hoping to get some posting done during the holiday break. Lets hope​

 

Late to the party, but I come baring wishes of an Obi-Wan stand alone film. Ewan really made me appreciate Sir Alec Guiness on a grand scale. So it would be nice to see Ewan get another chance to play Obi-Wan.

 

Cushy is in story mood anyone got Obi recs that are novel-length?

 

Let's see...The Hand Dealt (a WIP by not paranoid enough), and Fire and Ice and The Finer Shades of Why by Yesac are all long and somewhat Obi-Wan-centric, from what I remember. There's not a whole lot of long Obi-Wan stuff out there, sadly.

What about the "Lineage" and "Legacy" series by Ruth Baulding? "The Cell" by Obaona comes to mind, too.

 

Tell Ruth that she is not alone about having a busy DRL....*raises her own hand* Me too....

The story was wonderful...if I had been on the road and saw him at the side, I would like to think I would have recognized him, but realistically, going that fast on a highway, I probably would have only had a passing glance, and wondered at this strange guy at the side of the road and gone on....sadly. Awesome she got to meet him and know him...and now they're friends....and he loves to meet real people....not googlieeyed fans necessarily (like me I'm afraid, although he would be nice and cordial to me I think, but it wouldn't be the same), but people who don't necessarily know who he is, but is just friendly and helpful and this woman rides bikes! A friendship made ....(sigh of jealousy...sort of)...

 

I loved it that he appeared so happy and relaxed. It was wonderful to watch him ... and I realized how much I had missed hearing his voice (didn't have the chance to watch any of his films for quite some time). Gosh. Makes me "home-sick" for Scotland.

 

Yeah, I love his voice...the velvety lilt and that accent....yum...

 

I think I'm gonna burst out of laughter soon. It is so funny reading you two's conversation.

Hey! I can tell you from recently researching ... myself, that I'm totally in love with his eyebrows at the moment. That brilliant curve ... *shudder* And what did I take with me from watching "Velvet Goldmine" last week? A perfect glimpse of a perfectly muscled back ... and what you're hearing right now is me keeling over. *thud*

 

Thanks Ken and Nan. Cushy really struggling find way with Tribute, is very distressing. Plus, bit ago cops at place yet *again*. It sucks that it's like literally every day or night some medical or legal nonsense goes done here. Is this really normal????

I wonder if the Powers that Be will start announcing spin off films at the upcoming Celebration. It would be nice to hear more about the potential Obi-Wan film(s.)
