I'm excited about your coming-very-soooooooon-update on Between Heaven and Earth. *Jumps up and down with excitment, then clumpsyly stumbles on a chair and falls face-first on the floor* Humph! I'm alright! I'm totally....fine!

I'm working hard to get to finish up with chapter 5 of Meaning and Purpose, and hopefully I can find something to write on the other FF too. And hopefully I can update all three FF before the new year.

Where do you think is best to PM you, Ash? Here or Fanfiction.net?

 

Either is really fine, I get emails on both. I just can't get the emails or the app to work very well for updates on these threads so I lose track

I had a dream about Ewan last night...the first time I've ever dreamed about him...well so that he's a main part of the dream...he's only had cameos in a few previous dreams..

it wasn't all pleasant though...a bit weird...but then the dream shifted and I was getting married..(ha ha...) I think in my dream I was younger...and no..it wasn't to Ewan...but he was there. He showed up and became a guest...and the last I remember of the dream before it faded was we were standing together with our arms around each other getting our picture taken...

 

Sneaky, that was. LOL

And what a sweet dream ... one these that one can still hope to become true one day. My fingers are crossed!

 

I'm not sure what I would do if I did meet him...either babble like an idiot or be too shy to say anything...

 

Perhaps just give him a big grin ... gosh, a hug would be awesome. LOL

 

Don't think you would be alone on that part. In worse case, I might faint.

 

Not sure if you saw it ... a few days ago, after wrapping up "American Pastoral", he posted that he's returning home to LA - and a fan asked him whether Scotland wasn't his home anymore. In response to that, he corrected himself, saying that he returned to his wife, kids and dog. LOL

Good to know that he's not forgotten beautiful Scotland.

And his new film/ biography "Miles Ahead" will be released April 1st. Yay!

 

I love that guy so much.

Playing Iago in Othello on stage this year was the hardest thing.
Learning the lines was so boring that I would often find myself thinking I would rather wash the car or walk the dog - and I don't even have a dog.

DO YOU HAVE ANY REGRETS?
I once did a terrible audition for Sense And Sensibility. I had to act with Emma Thompson for the part Hugh Grant eventually played.

It would have been a wonderful opportunity to work with Ang Lee, who is a terrific director, but I thoroughly mucked it up. I was so unprepared that I was garbage.

It got to the point where I was almost saying: 'Please, for God's sake, don't ask me to do this scene again - let's just make everyone's lives easier and send me home.'

Gosh, can you imagine him in Hugh Grant's role? I can't ... The whole film would have been different. LOL

She's gorgeous!!! And only 14...oh my gosh..what will she be like in a few years? She takes after her gorgeous daddy, that's for sure.

His little girls are growing up....(sniff)....if he's like me, he sometimes looks at pics of them when they were babies and wish for those days again...when they were little and mommy and daddy (and maybe Kermit the Frog) were their whole world...

 

And the fanclub falls to silence once again.....

I got the impression he was pretty upset and annoyed by that question...lol

My goal the second time I met him was to get a picture and actual words out, give him something and get some kind of response and I got all that in spades! But it is still so so scary. The last show I went to in NY he was so sweet, another fan did ask him for a hug and he was happy to give it. I honestly don't think I could ever do that, unless I had time to talk to him or something first, but gosh I'd love a handshake so so so much...
