Fanclub Obi-wan Kenobi's Jundland Waste Hangout

We've finally got a whole Expanded Universe Obi-wan Kenobi novel and I'm ridiculously excited about it. This book was everything I could've asked for and more. JohnJacksonMiller delivers a unique book set in the Star Wars galaxy while still embodying the characteristics of the beloved Obi-wan Kenobi.

Give up Starbucks coffee for a week and save your money to buy this book. If you haven't read an EU book in awhile you need to pick this one up. I can't wait to talk about it in here with everyone! It comes out on Tuesday and please remember to put spoilers in a spoiler tag.

 

My favorite Old Republic Jedi is getting his own book. I'm happy.

 

This book was indeed awesome. I'd love to see it adapted into a spinoff film with Ewan back in the robes. Star Wars Western, boo ya.

 

It's bound to happen, within the next 5 years it will without a doubt.

 

I've been saving a B&N giftcard since Christmas for this. So hopefully it will be good

 

Can't wait to get this one either. Favorite character of all time.

About to get started on the 3rd chapter. Loving it so far, and it's making me inspired to start an RPG based off this book, can't wait to see what else unfolds

Looks like I'll be getting this now after finishing Crucible. Seems popular.

 

I would love to get it, but it will have to wait.

 

Soooo nearly 12 hours after finishing the book I just made the connection as to why Obi-wan never called Annileen 'Annie'....I feel dumb haha. I caught every little piece of irony or subtle connection to his past but that one.

 

Saw it in the store Saturday. Had to leave it there.

 

I'm having a bunch of "I haz sad" cat memes flashing through my head right now haha

Finally got the book today. My sister is visiting this week, so probably won't really get reading until Sunday.

 

Got this book for Christmas. Little over halfway through. Great so far.
