I was just reading trough issue 16 of the SW factfile and noticed something pretty weird.
In the 2nd page of the Luke Skywalker section (SKY6) it says "But as the dashed for the ship, Luke witnessed what he *thought* was the death of his mentor, when Obi-Wan Kenoni was struck down by Darth vader."
Anyone know what that means? Is Obi dead or not? I think it's got something to do with the comng-back-as-a-spirit-thini.
    What do you think?

Yeah, it most likely has to do with Obi-Wan's disappearing act and becoming one with the Force. He's not dead, he's just a little pale. ;)

Yes, I think that's it. Becuase he comes back numerous times to help and guide Luke, making himself more powerful than when he was alive...

Yes. It was refering to the fact that though he was no longer living in the flesh, he was living in spirit. It took me a little while to work it out myself.
