Toronto Obligatory Newbie Thread

My friend, Tessa (sw-starsfreakness) told me she'd throw me to her badgers on me I didn't register, so here I am. (I fear those pets of hers.) Anyway, my name is Jess and I?m not exactly sure why I?m here other than badger fear. I?d consider myself a general geek, and can hold my own in sci-fi banter but I?m not going to win any points for SW trivia or the like. Now if it was anime... Feel free to pelt me with rotten vegetables for that last comment. Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. ^_^

 

Welcome Jess to the boards, you dont have o be completely starwars crazy to be here, thats what some of us are for. But if you like sci=fi you have come to the right place, we do more then just starwars, we go out to see movies, go to sci-fi conventions, and other fun stuff, hope to see you at the a gathering soon. -Dan

I'm don't think I've spoken to anyone from this board on MSN before, not to my knowledge anyway. I think Tess added me to a conversation with like 20 people once and my brain imploded so I had to get out of it. XD

Those were strange conversations. Now I try to back out of those aswell, considering I can never follow the long stream of "What's going on?" or "What am I doing here?" to "I'M LOST". You'd think everyone was actually in a dark lit room, and were sudenly transported there.

Well Jess, I didn't get a chance to see you yesterday... nore will I today. I've got a nasty flu at the momment. I doubt anyone wants me to come to class and get everyone else sick.
