Interesting change from "Once you start down the dark side, forever will it dominate you" concept.

Quite devastating to feel the destruction of Alderaan.

Entry 25

Son of Anakin arrived today.
Same as father he is.

Looking for great warrior he was
Told him wars don?t make one great.

Strange food he had. Wondered how big he could grow eating that.
Got powerlamp and into argument with him. Calling Dagobah slimy mudhole he was. Got into argument with well known astromech. Anakin?s astromech it had been. Amidala?s astromech before that. Told him that taking him to Yoda I would.

No patience in the boy
Obi-Wan arguing with me different Luke is.
Doubt I have
Luke told me not afraid he was

Humpfh
Train him I will.
Hope he is.

 

I think the scene when we meet Yoda is the funniest scene in The Empire Strikes Back.

And he puts up such a great act! The only time is 'slips' is when he says that Anakin was a powerful Jedi.

 

Just about the funniest, Yoda really pushed it, didn't he? And Luke banging his head on the ceiling...

If Luke found all these Force sensitives afterwards, weren't they around somewhere during this time? What if one of them found Yoda and trained instead of Luke? So many questions... things could have been very different.

Luke training I am.
Made him carrying pouch and traveled along whispering the rules of the Jedi.

Artoo sneaky little droid he was.
Made picture.
Luke painted us hmmmmh talent he has.

Wetted me in missing leap over the pond he did. Told him to continue exercise in Force lifting.
Artoo spoiling concentration he did. X-wing disappearing it was.
Showed him that sizes matters not.

Should have left X-Wing in pond.
Luke gone he is. Friends in trouble on Bespin.

Fear for him I do.
Not ready to face his father he is.

 

I'd hate getting splashed too, especially if it was swamp water.

Wonderful, nice to see Yoda in a teaching position. It seems somehow natural to him. Nice!

Old I have become.
But
Learned all I have.

Qui-Gon taught me he did.
Discussed with Obi-Wan all and know.

Can become the same.
Can become one with the Force

Wait I will for Luke to come
Obi-Wan told me Luke fighting father he was
Refusing to join him

And increasing the small light. Obi-Wan visiting Anakin he was.

Saw the anguish on the ravaged face. A father missing his son.
Anakin still inside he is.

Luke help him he will.
Luke coming he is
