October 2013 meeting - 10/19 2 PM @ Village Inn

The next meeting will be on October 19th at the usual Village Inn on East Mexico Ave near I-25 and Colorado.

Sorry, I'll be at Zombie Crawl all day with UCD.

 

I can't make it have plans already for that day But looking forward to meeting some of the crew at the Hauntings at the Hangar!

 

Dependent entirely on someone else's timing, I may or may not be able to make this, so someone else should be prepared to take the notes....

I noticed you have Boo at the Zoo on the agenda. Please be aware it's the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo in Co. Springs, not the Denver Zoo. And please contact the garrison first before discussing this with the group. The zoo was very specific in what they wanted, and already there has been some tension about it. The POC has patched things up for the garrison, but it's not wise to barge in on this one at this time. I say please leave it off the agenda for now and maybe we can work something out next year. Denver Zoo does not want any SW groups at this time.

 

It's just an FYI, so that people know in case they want to go see, not a call to troop.

 

Exactly, we're always looking to improve communication amongst the Colorado sci-fi/SW groups, so I was passing event information along that I received via FB.
