What: 8th Annual TELUS World of Science Halloween Spooktacular

Once again we will be hosting our Annual Halloween Spooktacular at the TELUS World of Science. Join us for an exciting day of special activities, creepy treats, costume contests, spooky demonstrations, and special shows. This popular event often brings in over 1200 guests throughout the day, and has become a crowd-pleasing seasonal pasttime for many Calgary families.

Okay, I just placed my 'official' stat request, for the day off here at work. I would rather STAT the day then trade it, so here's hopeing.

Just a heads up on something I forgot to mention... The Calgary Kids Museum is also open now and is part of the TWS building. Im not certain if they are having a joint Halloween thing on the 28th but Im guessing they will. What this means: even more people, and alot more space to hang out in. Hopefully I can catch a break from studying and get out there to see ya'll again for the first time in a few months.

P.S. Plug for TWS (well i guess its not really, more like a public service announcement for you guys) there is free stargazing at the TWS on friday nights 9-10 with the time changing in november to I believe 830-930 (dont quote me on that) anyways you come in and basically a bunch of our RASC volunteers will have a number of high power telescopes set up on our observation deck pointed at various objects of interest in the night sky. Ofcourse this is all weather permitting; they may not run it if it is overly overly cloudy and/or the roof is frozen shut or something. Parking lot IS payed, its a city lot and they dont have control over it. Just thought Id let you know =P

Just received an email to let everyone know that the event ends at 4:00 PM on the 28th.

 

Hope everybody is going to have a great time there. Unfortunatly I won't be able to make it as I have to spend the day at a Hockey Coaching seminar at the Saddle Dome with the Flames and Predators coaching staff.

Could somebody please get some pictuers for the web site. I'll post them as soon as you get them to me.

You got it. Isn't it great how our landmarks change names just because of company sponsorships.
Look at the Saddle Dome. Its on it's third name now.
