I have a prior engagement otherwise I would come. Sorry!

 

Has anyone thought of any games to play? I was thinking of a scavenger hunt where you use a digital camera to take pictures of certain items, whoever gets the most items wins.

 

10 points for someone getting a picture of a few stormtroopers jumping out of the bushes at kids trick or treating!

 

Speaking of which, has anyone downloaded that Halloween Star Wars audio file from SW.COM? It's pretty cool.. I'd play it outside my house to scare the kids on Halloween.

 

That would be great, except I don't own a digital camera as of yet...

I was thinking of dunking for apples. And we do have Twister...

 

Ok, so I got my new job squared away today, only problem is that I still have about an hours work to do on my armor. I'm leaving for work in a couple minutes and I'm going to be working pretty well 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. for the next few days, starting in a few minutes and will be working straight through till 3:30 saturday. So I may be a little late on account of my lack of sleep and need to get the biceps/shoulders of my armor done.

 

I have a bad feeling about this...

 

Did you disassemble your armor or something? Or did Christian scuff it in more places?

 

Where is your sense of adventure? LOL

 

Eh, I making modifications to make certain parts hold together better, and as of now if I don't do anything between now and the party my biceps will be around my forearms the whole night.

 

Twister could be really interesting with a bunch of adults. Me, I'd fall within the first 3 minutes.

 

I don't know for sure that it would happen, but would it be OK if my significant other attended, too?
I'm stuck by myself all week while relatives are out of state at a hospital bedside vigil, so the boy was going to come keep me company this weekend.
He doesn't consume much, and you'll hardly even know he's there.

 

Does he have a costume? If not

 

I don't see why not. But if he is consuming...you will need to bring your own, since I won't be providing anything beyond Coke and the like...

 

Oh, as far as Teh Booz goes, he barely drinks, ever. I was referring more to food.

And I don't even have a costume.
Been preoccupied with the drama of the ol'buzzard who's bed everyone else is vigil-ing.
That, and food binging. So I can go as the "Pudgy Friend"; will that work?

So I was walking past the hr office at Kmart today and I hear the hr woman calling some employee and leaving him a message asking if he can work a few hours saturday in costume and hand out candy. Anyway, long story short I'm trying to get out of doing actual work on saturday to stand around in armor for a few hours and get paid to pass out candy.

 

AWESOME.

I should come in my Jedi garb and try to kick you in your Stormtrooper armor or something, you know, like "Pester the Trooper because he'd get fired if he fought back".

Oh wait, someone already kicked you in your ST armor... Bah.

 

Hehe, getting fired would be a welcome relief right now. I'd use the rest of the afternoon to sleep before the party that night.

 

John, don't wear yourself out so much that when your games get in you won't be able to play... Take care of yourself.

 

I forgot to change this, like, a week ago. We're going to be bringing roasted pumpkin seeds, popcorn balls, and maybe some seasoned oyster crackers.
