Madison, WI October meeting

Okay, I guess I'll start this one off.

Nat and I will be in town and available pretty much the entire month. Monday evenings are not good for us as usual.

However, I will request that the meeting is on the actual West Side. Borders at University is not West side. We're due for the meeting over here once more.

West Towne Barnes and Noble is my choice.

 

Thursdays are the only day that won't work due to the Show Choir

 

Current slots

Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday after 6:00 PM
Saturday
Sunday

Location choices:

Barnes and Noble, West Towne.

 

Seeing how as I've lived in Madison longer than you, Bevin, I think I can rightly say that Border's by Hilldale is considered "west side". But I agree on the Barnes and Noble's location as being the location for this time around. So far, Mondays aren't good, and some Fridays. I just don't know which Fridays, yet.

 

So far, I vote for Friday. Not sure which one won't work, so any of them for now.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays are ok, but I need to leave a little after 8pm if I want to make it home well before 9pm.

 

So we wait to see what days John is able to come

 

I vote Friday too. Saturday's could work after 6 or 6:30 for me.

Right now, looks like the 5th and the 19th work for me.

 

Well, two things for October 5, one being that it is my birthday, the other we come back on October 4th from San Fran and I don't think Elise will be able to make the October 5th because she's having surgery on the 25 of September, the whole reason for the trip.

If it is the 5th, I should be able to make it, otherwise the 19th looks good as well.

19th sounds fine. I'll be busy the 6th and 7th at Geek Kon here in madison (you guys should come it's downtown and its also free.

Yeah you guys better be there it's a good excuse to wear your costumes! I'd be up for meeting on both days I'm not sure if geekkon is that friday or not...I thought it was friday saturday...

Based on the website, geekkon is Oct 6 and 7, so it wouldn't interfere with the meeting on the 5th. As for both dates... why not?

As for costumes, sure, why not? Though apparently I couldn't bring my FX saber (no weapons on campus policy). oh well.

 

Any excuse to wear my costume is a good excuse for me

I'll try to make it, it looks like fun should we set up a meeting place for those of us in the fan force who make it
