This haunted Index will be updated daily with new fanfiction stories from this board, and at the end of the month all of these stories will be combined to make a master list, along with fics from both The Saga and Beyond the Saga Boards. EU - Expanded Universe (all of the books)
JA - The Jedi Apprentice books about Obi-Wan's youth before TPM
pre-TPM - takes place before the movies
AU - alternate universe
OC - original (author-originated) characters
GFFA - Galaxy Far, Far Away
H/C - hurt/comfort
vignette - a one-post story, especially a single scene
humor - lots of silliness
angst - anguish, torment, fear, anxiety
crossover or x-over - mixing Star Wars with another movie, tv series or book
round robin or RR - multi-author story inviting more people to join in (also called an add-on)

Also, this is for Cynical21, as she?s the one who, in my mind, created this version of Obi-Wan and Qui-Gon. Many thanks to her for letting me wander around in her sandbox and play with her toys ? I will always appreciate your generosity. And, lest we forget, all hail the Mighty Flanneled One. I promise to return the boys to you in good working order when I?m done. I make no money on this.

Notes: This started out as an OC challenge, the first part is the challenge response itself. One thing that came up was an incident on Dantooine, it's not really relevant to the first part but a few people were curious as to what happened, myself included. There's no particular posting pattern, but there will be another update between now and the 4th of November, the third will be on the 5th of November.

Disclaimer: These characters are not mine. The plot (such as it is) is.
Notes: This vignette was for an OOC challenge on a mailing list I belong to. We had about a month or so to write a vignette between 5 and 20 pages in Microsoft Word. It had to feature Obi-Wan and/or Qui-Gon OOC. There also had to be a reason for the behavior. After all of us submitted the stories, they were voted on. Of the three awesome stories submitted, I'm surprised to say this took first place. Silliness ahead, folks!

One! One New Story for October 23, 2007! Ah-ha-ha-ha!

Title: Fear Of Failure

Timeframe: Qui-Gon is 23 and on his first mission as a Knight

Summary: I adopted a plot bunny from greencat336:
What if while a Padawan and young Knight, Qui-Gon Jinn was a straight and narrow, Code and Council are always right, follow the rules, kinda guy. Then, something terrible happens because he was following a strict interpretation of the Code and/or obeying what the Council had told him to do. He has a crisis of faith, and in the end decides that although he can trust the Force that the Code and Council are open to being challenged. In other words, he becomes the maverick Jedi we all know and love.
The story didn?t turn out exactly as I imagined and I?m not sure if I completely covered what greencat336 expected from this plot bunny, but I hope you enjoy the story anyway.
