Up, because I'm feeling frivolous.

*groans at Rivad* Just when I thought I'd gotten rid of that image...

 

I don't usually go for stories featuring Mara (see sig. Luke's MINE!) but this was hilarious!

And I got all the points I think, but then I'm majorly late for the baklava.

Very humorous vignette! As always, Luke and Mara are perfect together, and you've carried it off with excellent humor.

"Do you know how long a trip that is? If you think I'm going to stay in a ship with that -- that -- that animated children's toy--"

Mara speaks out for the Ewok-haters everywhere.

"Come on, Mar -- think of the trip home. Just the two of us...it'll be like a second honeymoon."

She eyed him skeptically. "We haven't even been married for a full year yet."

"So we lead a charmed life."

Aww! I loved that part--a little touch of romance and sweetnes, not to mention some optimism. Luke and Mara should live a charmed life. It's up to fic writers to give it to them!

"You know the effect those snuggly little abominations have on me."

"Speaking of snuggly," her husband suggested.

Mara rolled her eyes. "I knew I should have thought twice before marrying a Skywalker."

"Shall I remind you why you did?"

"Better make it good, buddy boy. You've got a lot to make up for."
