SWC Of what tasty treat does each film in the saga remind you?

I know this sounds like a ridiculously stupid question and it probably is. Nevertheless I can't help but associate each film in the saga with some tasty treat. The Phantom Menace reminds me of Sour Skittles, Attack of the Clones reminds me of root beer, Revenge of the Sith reminds me of cheese, A New Hope reminds me of Cheez-Its, The Empire Strikes Back reminds me of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Return of the Jedi reminds me of regular Skittles, and now The Force Awakens reminds me of cake frosting. I don't know. Am I the only one?

 

Far from ridiculously stupid, this is one of the most ridiculously brilliant posts I've seen in quite some time.
Like Yoda, meditate on this I will.

 

The Force Awakens will always remind me of nacho cheese, which my son spilled all over the place when we saw it.

AOTC: raspberry creme brûlée
ROTS: dark chocolate mousse
ANH: warm chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven
TESB: spiced rum cake
ROTJ: hot fudge sundae with nuts in a waffle cone dish
TFA: Chips Ahoy cookies

Now I'm hungry....

ESB - steak with red wine sauce served with mashed potato
ROTJ - Caesar salad
TPM - nachos
AOTC - fish and chips
ROTS - sausage, bacon and eggs

 

Aside from popcorn?

TFA definitely does remind me of Starburst Minis, because that's what I was snacking on. ROTJ as caesar salad is perfect, and ROTS is definitely sausage, bacon and eggs. To me, ANH is sweet popcorn, TESB is salted popcorn, TPM is green apples and oranges, and AOTC is red wine and red velvet cake.

 

This is the best thread I have seen in a long time.

TFA: Popcorn mixed with chocolate, which I was eating on my first viewing.
TPM: Cornflakes
AOTC: Ginger biscuits
ROTS: Oranges
ANH: Sweet popcorn
ESB: Radishes
ROTJ: Cookies

 

Blue raspberry slushies, Skittles, and Twizzlers for all of them except ESB. That's Junior Mints.
Those may be my favourite treats lol.

 

What kind of Skittles, Admiral Volshe? And what flavour?

Gotta be green and orange Sour Skittles for me.

 

Sour and regular, of course. Mixed together. I like all the colours.

 

TPM: mac and cheese with hotdogs
AOTC: chocolate lava cake
ROTS: hot tamales (the candy)
ANH: popcorn with cheese
TESB: chocolate ice cream with hot fudge
ROTJ: deep dish pizza
TFA: spicy chili with cheese and sour cream

 

TPM,AOTC,ROTS = Pizza (I remember sleeping at my cousins house and us pooling our allowance to order a bunch of pizza and dessert to watch the PT together for the first time)
ANH = tostito's and salsa (ate so much while watching i threw up, not a great memory)
ESB = Beef Stew (I trried Beef stew for the first time watching this movie and fell in love, picky eater )
ROTJ = Peanut butter fudge (Because my grandma accidentally poured hot fudge all over our kitchen floor the first time i was watching it
TFA = Sour patch kid's (Because i splurged for once and paid 2.50 for a box and sat down in my seat only to find they were in plastic wrap in the box i hate making ANY noise during a movie)

 

ESB = Beef Stew and Cheese puffs
TPM = Taco bell and Soda
ROTJ = Popsicle

 

ANH: Popcorn - Few movies are as iconic as this one, and popcorn is an iconic movie snack.
ESB: Dark Chocolate
ROTJ: Chocolate Ice Cream
TPM: Sucker (cue images of that controversial Jar Jar tongue sucker)
AOTC: Pop Rocks
ROTS: Reese's Pieces - Had a few during my viewing of the film on opening day.
TFA: Peppermint Bark

 

It's all about coffee for me:

TPM: American coffee
AOTC: American with extra water
ROTS: Dark espresso
ANH: Latte
ESB: Dark espresso with a dash of cream
ROTJ: Cappuccino with whipped cream and almond essence
TFA: Black no sugar

 

honestly when I was a kid the OT always reminded me of Neapolitan Ice cream

ANH: Strawberry
ESB:Vanilla
ROTJ:Chocolate

Chocolate and ROTJ were my favorites with ANH and Strawberry coming in second and ESB and Vanilla were my least favorite

 

For me, The Force Awakens equates to a Greggs' apple turnover, or one of their apple pastries.

A great tasting item that I happily bought based on the title, only to discover that they had put raisins in there as well. Unexpected, no warning from the name.

TFA, wonderful, enjoyable film; that I have no trouble seeing as inspiring a new generation of SW fan, but with that guano FTL shield penetration....
