Oregon OFF MARCH '10 Meeting thread

Looking for a time, place, etc. If you have a suggestion, make it quick before peoples' schedules fill up.
My suggestion:
I have a recreation room at my place (Estacada) which is big enough to hold all of us, lol. So we could play SW DVD, games, etc.
Saturday/Sunday are good for me, except March 13-14. My son's birthday weekend.
So make up your minds soon if we want a meeting for this quarter.

It is a good thing that it the OFF Meeting won't be happening on that weekend. That is the same weekend as Emerald City ComiCon.

How about the weekend following? I work weekends and am off at 3pm. So, it would take me awhile to get out there, since I ride the bus. Unless someone wanted to come get me from somewhere.

Just give me a time and place and I will find a way to be there.

I know I have been out for awhile but if we did it in Portland somewhere I could swing my attendance.

Thankfully my Mom and I have two vehicles now, so I don't have to drop her off at work to get the car like last time. I'm going to need an address though, so that I can google me some directions.

We'll have to find another place. We can go with a resturant (or other establishment) with a big enough area, not too noisey, and within everyone's means.

Do we just want to have potluck at someone's house? Seems like there is only a few of us who are piping up about attending. Seems like we could work something out so that we could go to someone's house for a potluck style atmosphere. We wouldn't be bogged down with going to a restaurant.

I can do a potluck. Where would you want to have it?

If you guys don't mind the wet and cold, we could do it someplace like Champoeg or Molalla River State Park. Though the sun will be setting shortly after 7pm. We would only have a few hours to meet.

Could we find a place for the 28th? Portland area, or whatever? Resturant fine. Time frame afternoon/evening to accomidate working people.

Rats! The Mercs have an Armor Party in Newberg next weekend. I am kind of expected to be there, however, I don't know if I can.

I am still waiting to hear back whether I was approved to move into a house. If I am, I can host a potluck at a future gathering.

Good luck on the house! I remember my parents jumping through hoops to get our house, but it was well worth it!

It is down by the Dairy Queen, just off of 7th. The house, itself is on JQ Adams street.

Transportation is a bit of an issue for me, with this armor party. As it is, I probably won't be able to attend it on Sunday. Which means that I am free on Sunday, after I get off work at 3pm. If people do want to go hang out somewhere, I am not opposed. Otherwise, I think we can get something figured out in April.
