But there are replies, it's just the boards haven't noticed it yet.

The mod sort of has to be first, so the thread can be unstickied (not sure exactly why it has to be that way, it just does).

So if you had been first, I'd have had to zap your post... or lock the thread and start social thread 4.1


EDIT: And yeah, stickiness takes a while for the server to get used to. I promise you this thread is stickied and it will stay that way within 15 minutes.

I must admit, I too am a fan of the cheese. Especially in cake form.

 

Saw Hitchhiker's Guide. I didn't think my expectations were that high, but I was still disappointed.

I got a kick out of seeing the stuff onscreen, I smiled most of the film, but I didn't laugh like I do when I read the books.

Oh well. Kudos to them for trying.

I just came from seeing 'Hitchhiker' as well... in fact the seat next to The Dorkman's. I liked it a bit more than he, I suppose partly because I haven't read the books and avoided spoilers, etc, so it was all novel to me (pardon the pun). I felt like I watched a bunch of absurd/funny stuff happen and then it sort of ended, but I hear that's how the books and stuff are, which is a style that lends itself to the written word more than moving pictures. But I definitely thought it was a fun watch.
