Buff, NY Off to The Mouse

We are leaving Thursday for Orlando to go to DISNEY SW Weekend, Sea World and other stuff.
We'll be online, as usual.
We have a list already of desired wants.
IF you want IT from Disney, we will only be Official Mousing on FRIDAY. Downtown Disney is non-admission, so that we can go to anytime. We are NOT doing any Disney Parks Sat-Sun and we return Monday.

Get those requests in EARLY!!

We arrived on time, got misdirected coming here, and then had to change rooms.
Tired already.
Up very early tomorrow to get in line for STUFF.

Got private mails for updated requests.
Last chance to request Disney SW Weekend stuff unless you call Janice's cell phone - 553-7916 on Friday only.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Been a looooong and hoooooot day.

Left the hotel at 7:00 AM for breakfast, then off to Disney/MGM to get in line. Jay and Danielle's pre-briefing was right on the money. Disney pre-divided the crowd into:
just for the park,
wants autographs from stars first,
and wants merchandise first.

We actually swiped our Mouse passes at about 8:15, then queued into lines along Hollywood Blvd. for 10-15 mins, and then we were led to the merchandise warehouse next to the Narnia exhibit. At 9:00 they let us in and the buying began.

As we waited in line, they passed out pre-printed order forms for the exclusive limited edition you-can-only-buy-so-many items, circulated with pre-order forms for a boxed set of Disney SW bobbleheads, and shipping forms for sending EVERYTHING you bought (except for pins) straight home.

We were checked out and on our way in about 20 minutes.

To recap, we got the following:

Jay - weekend pins, Donald statue, bronze coin (shipped)
Lisa - Mickey pilot pin
Dan - 2 plush ewoks (shipped)
Gil - Emperor Stitch pin, Leia buns, Mickey Pilot magnet

We even bought stuff for ourselves. But at other parks.

Wandered through STAR TOURS and Tatooine Trader just to check, looked at costumes, but when it was only Jedi Mickey posing for pictures (not Mickey and Leia Minnie), we left for the Magic Kingdom and Pirates.

Many great new Pirates pins throughout the parks, and Janice bought 5 new Tshirts. We also saw Jack Sparrow's Pirate Tutorial, a new show similar to the Jedi Training Academy. Their "Jack" noticed that Janice was wearing a purple "I Love Jack" Tshirt, which he commented upon and flirted with her.

Afterwards, we finished out shopping at Downtown Disney, got grocieries for the room (including Bahama Mammas that are being quaffed even as we write), and then retired to the room to burn our clothes and prepare for tomorrow.

"What are we going to do tomorrow, Brain?"
"The same thing we do every day after we've shopped at Disney, Pinky. Shop the outlet malls and try to take over the world."
