    Stargate Toon Due On Fox
    Fox will air an animated version of the SF series Stargate SG-1 on Saturday mornings, starting in the fall, according to reports on the Gateworld Web site and Impact magazine. The magazine reported that MGM has ordered 26 episodes of the series, called Stargate: Infinity.

    The magazine also reported that Infinity will be produced by DIC Entertainment (Inspector Gadget, Captain Planet). Infinity will reportedly take place about 20 years after the events of the movie Stargate, but will try not to contradict the established continuity of both the Showtime/SCI FI Channel series and the movie.


    YIPPEE!! Finally, a new cartoon series that might be worth watching!

    Not sure about when we'll get it (possibly not until next year), but there is at leaast another season of the live-action Stargate SG-1 to come. For a change we're bang up to date, I'm not sure if they've even started filming the next season yet.
