Off Topic: Why does FX movies call so much

    Dumb questions but it seems movies like Star Wars, and big fx movies cost a lot, even more. It seems with CGI and computers it would be cheaper than the old days when they had build bigger sets, etc. Take Star Wars, Lucasfilms already own the computers needs to do CGI, so they are just buying workers for time right? I am sure I am missing something here.
