Oregon OFF TOPIC....

Hey everybody, I just wanted to post some thoughts of a more serious note. Today is a special anniversary for me. I am seven years sober as of today, August 12th. The reason I bring this up is because a good part of my success in remaining sober is in large part because of the company that I keep. Being an alcoholic is not an easy thing. But having seven years sobriety is a milestone for me. Like I said, it is in large part because of the company that I keep. I want to thank each and everyone of you for your friendship. You may never know how much it has enriched my life. So, thanks for being the wonderful friends that you are. And here's to another seven years of successful sobriety!

Yeah 7 years is quite impressive. I don't think I could go 7 days, hehe. I know a friend who is an alcoholic, he could use to at least slow it down, but flat-out quitting has never worked for him.

 

Way to go Bill. We are all proud of you.
