Don't tell me, it's going to finish in Cinema's just 1 month short of it's 1 year anniversary? :(

No idea. If it keeps to 5 screens for Fri-Sat-Sun, I'd be more hopeful.

The numbers for this weekend: $3,128

    Domestic Gross: $310,670,131

It was only playing at two theaters. I guess Cameron's new Titanic documentary took some screens away.

I wonder if it'll still be playing when the one year anniversary comes around. ?[face_plain]

Regardless, it's been an amazing run.

More than three thousand dollars at only two theaters is pretty darn impressive

    AOTC:TIE weekend take - $3,128

    Friday
    $508
    282% / $254
    $8,476,259 / 162

    Saturday
    $1,896
    273.2% / $948
    $8,478,155 / 163

    Sunday
    $724
    -61.8% / $362
    $8,478,879 / 164

    Monday (just in)
    $200
    -72.4% / $200
    $8,479,079 / 165

The screen count ruined any chance of a good total for AOTC:TIE this week, it fell down to a mere 2 screens. Monday was for only 1 screen. I think the IMAX run could finally be coming to an end.

    IMAX TOTAL AFTER 24 WEEKS : $8,478,879
    AOTC FIRST-RUN US CINEMA TOTAL : $302,191,252
AOTC INTERNATIONAL CINEMA TOTAL : $337,381,454 as of 24th Feb 2003

AOTC US BOX OFFICE TOTAL AS OF 13.4.03 : $310,670,131
AOTC WORLDWIDE BOX OFFICE TOTAL AS OF 13.4.03: $648,051,585

I hope GL does an IMAX run again with Episode III, then another run with all three prequels (as well as the originals) just so he can prove to all those negative media types who say things like "SW is dead" that his movies still and always will rule :D

Feel the burn Entertainment Weekly ;)

Monday went by with no Attack of the Clones totals being tracked at Box Office Mojo.

    :( Was a respectable run.

I saw AOTC:TIE get tracked for $200 from 1 screen on Monday.

Check the Daily section for Sunday, on BoxOfficeMojo.com. It's still going, just.

    AOTC:TIE Tuesday figures...

    $400
    100% / $400
    $8,479,479 / 166

Hey, only on 1 screen still but that's double what it made on Monday. Take your positives where you can find 'em :) $300+ for Wednesday would be nice. It's gonna be touch and go whether it makes the one-year anniversary of AOTC's release, though.

As much as I'd like it to be higher, I'm not going to complain. Not too bad for a movie that's been out 11 months.

If it will make you guys feel better (although it might make you jealous) I'll be going to see the IMAX AOTC Wednesday, April 23 at of all places Jordan's Furniture in Massachusetts (they have an IMAX theater there). It's down to only Wednesday evenings but I'm going to make it!!! And NO, I'm not going to buy 700 tickets to help boost sales. :D

    $224
    -44% / $224
    $8,479,703 / 167

Still only on 1 screen. Not much to say, really, apart from it made more than last Wednesday! :D :p

AOTC:TIE is down as having 0 screens, and there's no figure for Thursday...

But, this is the same for several films, even ones like Dreamcatcher which only came about a month ago, so it must be due to late information. We might not find out until after Easter Monday, I'm afraid.

If you're using Box Office Mojo as your source, they won't have Thursday's actual numbers until Monday.

It's good Friday and most studios aren't open to report yesterday's grosses.

90% of Box Office Mojo's Thursday numbers are just estimates by their Webmaster/resident guru, and I'm sure he doesn't think creating an estimate for the one theater AOTC is in is worth wasting his time on.

    :D

From Box Office Mojo's Daily page:

NOTE: Due to Good Friday, estimates had to be made for some movies that normally would be actuals at this time. They will be revised with actual numbers on Monday. All holes you see below will be filled by next week as well.

    $8,481,109 / 171

Weekend total of $1,206. Finally time to pack up shop I think, it was only showing on one measly screen for the entire week. I'd expect the run to end very soon indeed.

Hmm, I really doubt it. I think another week would be pushing it. With it staying on only 1 screen for the whole week, the writing's on the wall. And that writing says The End Is Nigh.
