Hi guys, we're creating an official Fantasy Euro 2008 league for any and all Jedi Council Forum members to participate in. It's really easy to register and sign up. Those of you who may have already played fantasy leagues before will know what to do, but for those who haven't, here is a quick walk-through. First step: To register click on this link here and then register. Once you've done that, you'll receive an email asking you to click a validation link, when you do that, you'll receive another email telling you that your new account has been approved. That's the first step over and done with. Second step: Go back to the original link, and then log in. When you do this, go to the button "Final Game" and click on it. You'll then see the Terms and Conditions. Once you've accepted this you'll be sorting out your team name, your team colours, and a team pitch with 12 blank players that will need to be filled in with a selection of player names. You will only have a budget of €100, so you won't be able to select all the big names on offer. For those unfamiliar with European football players, I'll be offering you some tips on who to buy in my next post. You can only select no more than two players from the same country. Once you've selected your team, it's on to the next and final step. Third step: Now this is done, there should be some league buttons showing up (there will definitely be one on the menu bar). Go to "Join Private League" and enter in the number 717-203. Once this is done, you're now part of the JC Arena league Rules: This game is based on total points accumulated by the players selected in your teams, and the points will be sorted automatically by the UEFA website. Points scored by your team captains are worth double, so choose your captain carefully. Goalkeepers and defenders will get extra points for keeping a clean-sheet (no goals scored against them) per game, and all outfield players will receive extra points if they assist a goal, score a goal, or are selected as one of UEFA's "bonus" players. The eventual winner of the Fantasy Euro 2008 League will receive VIPship/colours and a custom title to be held for one-two weeks. There won't be any game-bannings in this competition, if any of you who play FF-UK Fantasy Premier League were wondering. Right, let the games begin, and may the best man/woman win!
