Colum, OH Official Burger King Mask info for Scott

So far, no luck. I have read that supposedly "there is only one mask and it is copyrighted by Burger King, and therefore not for public sale".

But there was some dude on a site that was trying to make one (and a mold...to be able to make more) for Halloween. Here is the "preview" pic he posted:

EDIT: Ok...looks like the guy's angelfire site blocked the pic because I linked to it and they have limits on bandwith...oh well. See below on getting a mask...seems like the ONLY option.

Ok...so get this. The mask/head was inspired by an old plastic helium tank cover that some BK exec saw on Ebay. It had a hole in the mouth where you filled up the balloons. According to this article, they hired someone to do a "Hollywood makeover" on it.

Scott, I already called you about this, but for everyone else....

I called the Burger King corporate office about this. They said that for the past 3 months, all they have been getting are calls about the King. They told me it is not available. Period. They are planning to release it next year for halloween if interest continues, but not this year.

So, I guess it's time to pluck down $200 on a plastic mask on ebay, or start melting some plastic, and sculpting your own.

 

That ebay thing is crazy! I mean its not even a full mask! Just like a childish one you get with cheap Halloween costume!

 

oh oh oh I have an idea...we can melt down some plastic and layer it on scotts face to make him one ourselves...don't worry scott, it only hurts for the first few layers...lol

 

We knew that playing with all those action figures would come in handy some day...good idea CJ! I'll hold him down!

CJ, you are on a plastic melting mission! It would be easier and a lot more painless to use paper mache. Then we could fill it with ballistics gel, and use that to scuplt a mask.
