Just finished cleaning up the last of the mess last night, and was so happy that I was able to supply the Rebels with the equipment they needed in the struggle against the enemy.
But, as Albert the Alligator once famously said in Walt Kelly's "Pogo Possum,": "We have met the enemy, and he is us."
So I pledge to maintain my obsolete arms and cast-off camoflage in a state of readiness in hope that empires, which seem to evolve in an evil manner, might either fail or at least be forgotten for the moment during the heat of paintball warfare.
With apologies to all those I mercilessly slaughtered in that last game,

Yeah, especilly to yours truly with me going through 3 differnt guns Saturday. But, besides that, it was a blast(camp) and my thighs muscles are still sore now.
Suprisingly, I came back with no bruises or welts this time. Must be my natural body armor.

Next time, let's just play 6 hours of Embassy.

 

How's about let's do it again, soon? Or if anyone is interested in forming a "Force" group to participate in a big scenario game, such as the "Battle of Stalingrad" (for example) in the fall at Challenge Park Extreme near Joliet. This lasts all day and into the night, and is a continuous battle (stinking Nazis vs. filthy Communists) until way after dark. I went to the last one and it was way too much fun. There are also quite a few other events, some of them sci-fi, in other venues.
