Honestly, now that your Panters are no longer NFC West (what was THAT about anyway?) I'm happily pulling for your boys in blue.

Phooey. No bet. I still have to wash the stench of a losing bet with R2Detroit from the NHL Stanley Cup going to the Detroit Red Wings.

I'll place bets on the Atlanta Braves, but never on the Atlanta Falcons. I don't like to throw money away.

 

Man, I remember when I was into college football 4 years or so ago and the Atlanta Falcons kicked some major arse...

Then I stopped watching altogether

Anyway, I'm definitely glad we seem to have some boys on our team this year who actually know what a football looks like.

 

I'm happy about it, also. Maybe now we'll attract more revenue for the stupid games... Maybe. Doubtful, but hey -- if they do start winning more, I may go to a Panther's game.

 

I love it that the Chargers have sucked the last couple of years because it was easy to get tickets to the games against the Niners, but they look good this year I may not get to see my Niners in person this year.

 

I used to be a Cowboys fan back in 98..

Nowadays I don't have time to watch the games.

Funny--I thought the Panthers would win, because I fell asleep on the couch right before the game, and was awakened twice during the first quarter (or maybe the first half) by Art jumping up and down and yelling, "YES!"

I read in this week's sporting news that the Panthers may get Dwight Clark in their front office....Another tie to SF's former glory.

Parity in the NFL, the worst can be the best in less than 12 months. Bizarro. At least the Niners won...barely. They still do not look like the powerhouse team they are supposed to be. I don't like this offensive coordinator... He's too conservative.
