    Yikes! at total cost.
I read the spoilers for Thor 706 sounds like a worthy way to go.

I would love to read Strange and Damnation, but will hang tight until the collection arrives. Hope you like.

I'm really debating on picking up Hickman's Avengers - which would be 50 bucks or - as digital comics, or waiting a couple months and grabbing the omnibuses. They'd cost almost twice as much, but I much prefer having a paper copy of comics.

It was an amazing run. Either way you're getting an excellent series.

Just pre-ordered Old Man Hawkeye 7, the Old Man Hawkeye trade (1-6) and Captain America 1.

I have the 1st dozen issues of the Hickman Avengers. Damned good stuff. I got it because of this pic that cropped up and hunted down what it was from as the Avengers run came out way before I started collecting again.

I read it on Marvel Unlimited a couple years ago and own Secret Wars as a tpb. I just want something more tangible then a streaming rental.

That's a brilliant page. Thanks for refreshing my memory.

I stuck more to New Avengers initially because I was a fan of many of the characters on that team. However, I eventually read the whole thing and miss Hickman's Avengers like nobody's business.

I almost decided to give Aaron's Avengers shot, but I am not a fan of the artwork. I'll pick up the issue on Agamotto though.

    For me it has been
Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects TPB
    The Unique vol. 1 TPB
Neither Hickman or that art is my cop of tea.

The problem with the Shang-Chi parts is that he had to compete with Immortal Iron Fist, which is the eternal high bar for kung fu comics.

Excellent Beetle story in Old Man Hawkeye. I liked Kraven's kids. Too bad they'll no longer be joining the story.

Thor 706 like the entire Foster/Thor story was just wonderful. After this they reboot Thor and I wonder if perhaps there will be a Thor Core? Odinson wants to make lots of hammers from a small remain of Mjolnir.

I wouldn't be surprised if Aaron resurrects the Thor core given that angle. I liked what I saw of his send off for Jane Foster. No matter what I thought about her being Thor, she went out in the best way possible. I wonder what book Russell will be on next?

Agreed about Old Man Hawkeye. Abe's story was a neat curve-ball. I also love that they're showing Clint being forced to change his fighting style (close quarters now) given his dying vision. That panel of him leaping toward the Beetle was amazing. The Kraven grandkids were fun (Marco's a huge Spider-Man fan so you can tell he loves all the characters connected to Peter too). This book is really surprising me. It's hitting a lot more emotional notes than I thought it would.

No matter how silly I think this is as a concept, that is a fantastic character design.

Working my way through a pile of Old Man Logan comics, definitely was enjoying it. I still have Action Comics #1000 to read too, I went with the classic 40s cover, I dug it.

Rereading Batgirl Volume 1: The Darkest Reflection TPB by Gail Simone.
Art by Ardian Syaf and Vicente Cifuentes.

I really like this character, this story and Gail's writing style. I definitely need to buy Volume 2 soon...

One of the best written comic series I read. Plus it made Batgirl one of my all time favourite comic characters.

Yes, it really is an excellent story. Gail is a great writer. I first read volume 1 a couple years ago, and am enjoying it even more the second time. I went ahead and ordered Batgirl Volume 2: Knightfall Descends and it should be here by Friday.

I'm reading Before Watchmen , the Ozymandias volume by Len Wein , I gotta say I don't like this one , it just doesn't sound like Veidt . I've liked some of the others , especially the Darwyn Cook one , but this one just doesn't match up .
