Full Series Official Darth Vader in Rebels Discussion Thread

The more I see the teaser, the more and more I suspect that "Mustafar" is a red herring; we all know what's going to happen. The Star Destroyers haven't even left orbit yet.

 

I wish starwars.com would stop telling us cool stuff like this in advance - advertise it on the TV where I won't see it

I really hope that this works out like Lando and Tarkin's appearances and isn't pointless like Yoda's.

 

If you look in the background, it doesn't look like Mustafar at all.Is he going on Lothal ? I wonder who will kick the bucket...

Yes but it doesn't necessarily mean Vader is on Mustafar.

 

I didn't say he was. Vader probably turns up at the end and 'deals' with the Inquisitor.

 

Now that you mention it, it's really a noticeable FAIL. This is Darth Vader, not the god**** Batman.

 

Animation wise, for Vader compared to someone like Tarkin or Obi Wan, we can't really compare him to TCW animation because we only saw his head briefly in that show.

His cape was like that in Empire Strikes Back, he only had the chained cape in RotJ and New Hope. It's weird, but I do prefer the chain.

 

I've been watching ANH and I couldn't see the chain, in a lot of scenes.

 

Yeah, the chain tie isn't very visible at all.

 

I think my first bet would have been Darth Vader coming to the show. The only one in the Empire who kills or tortures Jedi above the Inquisitor is either Vader or the Emperor himself. It's Vader's main mission to do.

 

Darth Vader is a *huge* cash cow - it was obvious Disney were going to exploit him.

 

Let's hope he doesn't start appearing too much.

They advertise these big episodes way too much. The episode is only 22 minutes long, and I feel like I've seen it already in slide show form.

I used to think every seasonw would have a new Inquiisitor, that could be true but then again Vader could resurrect him like he was resurrected by Sidious, or Grievous or Starkiller into the Sith Stalker were also salvaged. If he does fall to his death(another naboo reference), they could pull a Maul and make him come back again anyway,lol.

I wouldn't mind getting another Inquisitor replacement though... I like the idea of them
