Amph Teenage Mormon Ninja Vampires: Twilight Movie Thread - Now onto Breaking Dawn pt. 2!

Saw it at midnight, thought it was very very good, although I could have done without the 300 screaming fangirls. But that was expected so lulz.

Though they skipped a lot out on the book [again, expected] I thought they did an excellent job. And Kristen Stewart is ...3fhdguvjhbsdfnvilasdvmasdkvsdkvd. Sit on my face.

 

Omg, like ALOT of people say it sucked 'cause it wasn't like in the book..
(not like i would even care, eh)

On the way to the theater Thursday night, the bff and I were talking about how we were more excited to see the rest of the Cullen Clan and Bella's friends then we were to see Edward and Bella. Since we had seen a lot of there stuff in the commercials and on youtube, we both wanted a ton of Alice. And she wanted more Jasper and I wanted more Emmett or Mike.

Got my fingers crossed for more Alice and people in dvd extras.

2nd viewing just as good as the first. Made the husband go with me, he said he didn't hate it. He didn't like it and the only saving factor was Ashley Greene because she is cute.

Then we had this long discussion about how creepy the whole bedroom scene was and that he was glad that I said it first because he didn't want to get smacked for saying it.

But I told him well most girls think it's sweet if their guy says they're watching them sleep or have watched them sleep. But the way it's portrayed in the movie is that of a creepy stalker guy and not in a romantic sense like you get from the book.

Hope to see if for a third time withing the next week or so!

I have read plot summaries online and this series kinda freaks me out and not sure I want to read the books. And I am second-guessing trip to see the movie. Though, I think JediFarfy will insist on both.

 

After reading this thread, my respect for PK and Carmen has plummeted.

My favorite part was when Darkseid ambushed Superman when the Justice League was fighting Brainiac so that they could capture him together.

Finally saw the movie. I'm definitely on Team Alice.


Though Jacob was very shiney eye candy as well.


I want Jasper to have more than 1 line.

 

My cousin lent me Twilight and New Moon at Thanksgiving and I instantly fell in love with the books, and I quickly got ahold of the last two as well.

I actually think the movie (despite what is missing) is a fairly decent representation of the book, and I think the casting was very good. I too wish there was more of the other Cullens, but I'm patient.

 

I'm horrible because the entire time I kept watching Jasper and pondering whether or not he will make a good Sokka in the Last Airbender movie.

 

It was so bad it was funny!

That last one was horrible. Like OMG so.

Though I'm totally loling at how they're going to put that on film.

I think my favourite bit had to be Emmett in the background waving the knife when Edward was introducing Bella to Esme. I nearly cried it was so funny. I just want more Emmett...*melts into happy puddle*
