It's that time of year again already.

As we discussed at the NOVEMBER MEETING on Saturday, the Annual RMFF Holiday Gathering is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 17.

I have offered to host at my place in Parker again this year.

If anyone else is interested in hosting, please post to that effect.

Traditionally, we have incorporated a gift exchange in conjunction with our Holiday meetings. Everyone's name goes into the cyber-hat, and a disinterested party (last year was Fenig's mom) draws the names in tandem to decide who is gifting to whom. We typically designate an official limit of $10 on these gifts.

If anyone has any suggestions/comments on the gift exchange, please post them in the RMFF 2005 Holiday Gift Exchange

Also, last year's Holiday meeting had a TOGA theme. If we want to organize another theme-oriented gathering, please indicate your interest/suggestions here.

This is primarily a socially-geared "meeting", with the purpose of getting together to celebrate the holidays and reflect on the past year's successes. OFFICIAL business will surely be kept to a bare minimum at best.

Currently, the tentative date under discussion is Saturday Dec 17.

I like the Retro idea, Sarn.

How about a 70's theme in honor of the OT?

The 70's were still somewhat Psychedelic, and yet you can throw in disco as well for good measure.

Actually SS, if you don't mind Courtney and Shane have expressed a real interest in hosting the party at their new home on the 17th.

We have been wanting to put on something for some time now but we have been in an apartment that is too small for everyone to fit in. But now we have our new house!!! :) :)

There had been some talk about having a Mexican Food Theme for the party.

Which would not interfere with the costume theme.

Is this something that we still want to do?

OH & we talked about a Mexican theme (or at least for the potluck)?

We can start another thread for food items needed for the taco/burrito bar. =P~

I say if its a seventies theme you need to stick with the idea and have food that was big in the seventies. mexican doesn't tie in to the theme.

I'm thinking TANG and well I don't remeber the seventies so UMMMM tang and

I vote for the Mexican...most people like it and it is easy to coordinate.
