Not a bantha OR a dewback? *scratches head* I can only think of two other creatures found on Tatooine that've been ridden on screen, and neither of them are present in the non-Special Edition OT.

Ah well. I had last guess, so I've gotta wait for someone else.

 

Is it an Eopie?

I know it's not an OT creature, but finals fuzzed brain can only come up with that as a ridden creature on Tat.

 

Actually, i think I figured it out (and can guess since someone else did, too). It's a Ronto. They don't appear in the non-Special Edition OT, but do appear in Episode I. That makes it correct to say that they do appear in the OT, but don't appear exclusively in the SE-OT... since they did appear outside of the SE-OT, in Episode I.

Eopies, to my knowledge, never appeared in the OT (special edition or otherwise).

Haha, yes. I came to the Ronto conclusion about 5 minutes after I posted the Eopie. Like I said, I know it's not an OT creature, but brain fuzzed all to heck with finals..
