FF:NZ Official Fan Club

    ...so, the official SW fan club has changed hands, and is now owned by Wizards of the Coast (a subsidiary of Hasbro, no less). Which is all well and good, except that they will no longer take international orders on any items.
    The service from the previous owners was mediocre at best, but at least they shipped to Australasia, and were a source for such things as exclusive figures.
    What now?

    no international orders AT ALL???
    thats bad news, as I have purchased many
    exclusive figures through the fanclub.

    You're right, even if these wizards do give better service, what good are they too us
    kiwis?

    i find it kinda odd that Hasbro can buy the official fan club......guess i am not up with the lingo

    I think LUcasfilm will live to regret its new arrangements.

    I still have a subscription to the Star Wars insider thru the fanclub, so what'll happen to me now?

    hopefully I'll still get my next few issues...

    Where exactly did it say international orders were no longer available? I haven't heard anything about that.

    If you currently have a subscription to the insider you will continue to get it untill it runs out. After that you currently won't be able to re-subscribe.
    Also yes as to NO international orders, as far as I know it's strictly for the US market which is a real let down.
