Since actors/actresses from other Marvel, non-MCU properties are crossing over to the MCU now, how about Michael Fassbender as Doom?

Fassbender for anything, really. Doom could be awesome but I'm crazy and say keep the X-Men actors ala Judi Dench was still M in the Craig Bond films. Since it's Hawlley, I'd vote for Dan Stevens from Legion.

Doom: I'd vote either Fassbender or Mads Mikkelsen who needs another shot at a Marvel baddie.

With Josh Brolin playing two Marvel villains/antagonists, there's precedence (and it does appear that Cable is the antagonist in Deadpool 2, even if not an outright villain).

Michael Fassbender has been my top choice for Doom for ages. He’d be so perfect in that role. Also, don’t just make Doom a F4 villain, make him an Avengers villain too. He’d end up being the next Loki of the MCU, and could eventually join the heroes to help them fight Galactus.

Doom should definitely be the uber-baddie of the next series of Marvel films. And, to be fair, that could happen cuz we didn't see Thanos until a post-credits teaser in the 4th film, Avengers, which was the final "phase" of that, so if the deal goes through they can still crank out about 3 movies a year and by the time they hit 6 more movies (in, like, 2 years) they can drop the Doom hammer.

So, about three years ago this sneak peek trailer to Doomed! The Untold Story of Roger Corman's Fantastic Four dropped and I was hooked on watching it whenever it came out on Netflix or something.

I recently discovered it was available on Amazon Prime and checked it out last night. I found very interesting in pretty much every aspect.

The actual filmmakers (director, editors, composers, etc.) and actors thought they caught a huge break in their careers as they really felt being part of Marvel's Fantastic Four would really boost their careers. However, when they arrived to the studio set, which was literally a condemn warehouse, the began to suspect something was a foot, but dismissed it as it's what's to be expected with a Corman produced film.

It's was kind of heartbreaking to see the filmmakers and actors go through the process thinking the film was going to happen and have a theatrical release, but to only have the rug pulled out from under them at the very last minute.

I was very certain there was a VHS release of the film as I recall seeing on the shelf at Blockbusters. I've never seen the movie, but the next time I see it at comic convention I may buy it.

I think Hugo Weaving should be the choice of Doom.

The low budget one? Honestly I thought it was fine based on a 1m budget.

Hugo said he’s NEVER doing a superhero film again, as he really disliked playing Red Skull.

Isn't Doom East European? Maybe they should pick some actor from there.

Ralph Fiennes would be a good choice as well, but he should play Sinister.

Michael Fassbender. Javier Bardem. Jon Hamm. Jude Law. Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. There’s plenty of good choices.

I think Jason Isaacs would play a better Mr. Sinister.

Ooh, I totally want to see the Doomed flick. Y'know oddly enough I think the Corman flick actually has the best version of Doctor Doom compared to the other 2 from Fox

The last movie failed badly because it was trying too hard to make F4 dark and gritty, and jump through "1 year later". The Dr. Doom character was just horrible.

Josh Trank opened up a bit recently about his FF experience. Kristian Harloff in turn dropped some of the things he discussed with Trank off the record back at the time when it was all going down (language warning btw).

The original writer served up 18 different drafts of the script inside of a 6 month window. Sheesh!

If it's any consolation, there are many rumors of having Jim Halpert direct or be in it

Yeah, I’ve seen those. I would love them to be true.
