I'll be up on the Fri probs so don't mind doing a walk round Newcastle We have to get a group photo at that great Northern icon ...

 

I'm up for that, would make a great pic I was planning on heading up early so I don't mind walking round Newcastle either.

 

We can leave the menu sorting to the ladies. This is a barbecue, gents. Our job is to turn up and do the BBQing duties on the day, beer in hand, and wearing a crap Hawaiian shirt

 

Dude cooking is in my blood, I did catering for about a year and a half This is something I'd love to get stuck into.
And I'm sure I've got a crapy Hawaiian shirt somewhere

I think we can allow a bit of fun, so yes, Hawaiian shirts are compulsory....For us girlies-shall we get grass skirts and garlands??

What about games?..? Are there any sort of outdoor games we can play...Twister perhaps? I?m sure SW Trivial Pursuit will be included somewhere in the plans.

And yes, I fully agree with the boys doing the cooking- wouldn?t want to get in the way of the macho instinct....us girls can do nice things like decorations and cakes.

For those travelling up before Sat (i.e. the NW lot), have a think if there?s anything you?d like to see while you?re up. My Dad?s away, so I should have the car for any sightseeing a bit further afield than Newcastle.
