No stoppin' me.

And personally I'd like to play at least some of the RPG (if Troy can make it )

 

If Troy is there, then I would love to play the RPG... if not, then I don't care what we play, as long as everybody who can come does, and we have fun like we used to...

Ummm...I have to find a flip-chart pad with one inch squares for the game. There should be one between the Westmount and Danny's house that I can pick up. Are there any Staples or Office Depot type stores on the way?

I have a level one adventure planned. I wonder how much training and how much gaming we'll be doing tonight...

 

We still have our maps from the "Invasion of Theed" box sets... will those help?

 

Yup, they'll help.

Sometimes I just like to draw maps right there while we are playing.

I came up with a backstory for my character on the ride home so I thought I'd post it here before I forgot:

Kubla Cree, a native of Corellia, trained at the Academy but managed to dodge an Imperial draft. After completing his training he went back to Coronet City and joined the Correllian Security's Tactical Response Unit (SWAT team). His time with them was short lived, however as the Imperial Diktat disbanded the unit and replaced them with the infamous Stormtroopers.

Out of a job, he moved from system to system trying to find work in legitimate security forces. It soon became nearly impossible to find work as most para-military tactical units were replaced with stormtroopers.

Angry with the Empire for taking away his livelihood, he turned to the illicit side of his trade and became a mercenary/bounty hunter.

Recently out of work he decided to travel to the peaceful world of Chandrila to sharpen his skills and maybe take a piece out of the Empire in return for taking away his respectability...

A little backstory helps me, as it indicates things that are important to your character. I always try to give a bit of reference to the characters' backstories in the game. Sometimes I create full adventures dealing with backstories. In my opinion, it helps to make the experience more complete, as it goes far to further help the players develop their characters.

I had a great time, guys. Good job saving the Senator! She has a very important task in mind for you all, if you don't mind taking some credits for another job.

...and this next one you'd want to avoid any...Imperial...entanglements.

I'm starting a new job next week...something with more hours and much, much closer to home (as in, within walking distance). It starts Monday, so I already know that I won't make next week.

Things are a bit in disarray right now. During the interview, they said that they wanted someone for the weekdays from 2:30 to 11:00. If that's the case, and they want me to work all five workdays, that'll stop me from Monday games. I don't feel that I'm in the position (yet) to say which days I want to work. I'll have weekends open, however.

I've got a bad feeling about this...

 

I have a way for games night to be saved (that is assuming no one else is moving away )

Anyway, since I'll be living in Greentree Village by the end of june/beginning of july I figure I can host games night a few times a month at least (already cleared it with the roommates). I can keep this up for as long as I'm staying there.

So, would anyone be willing to come to a Berx-hosted games night?
