that was pretty sick. glad to see free still reppin the roc, not that he wouldn't be. I admit I am completely ignorant of this man Brother Ali, but he was pretty cool.

Also watched the behind the scenes for Ghetto Dreams. boss.

saw a video for evidence on the side; made me think of mr. slow flow. Decided to go with Chase The Clouds Away for this post.

edit: still the nas link for the free db movement.

edit2: the sample in the song in case you ain't know.

her voice is great. she definitely has her own sound but reminds me just a little of lauryn hill in moments. the j. cole part is kind of unnecessary but there are so many tracks like that. it's that formula.

did you listen to 'legendary weapons'. it's a pretty great record if you like straight emceeing. been bumping it a lot since it first came out.

    some classic ghostface

I was thinking the same thing [lauryn hill moments]. I dug the cole part. simple but fun- like the song. but yall know I'm biased about cole. Still thought it complimented the song well. imo Cole is good at makin songs.

and yessssssssssssssssss. DOPE beat. DOPE ghost! thx!

I did not listen to it, but if you link it- I'll give it a listen. lolz.

ugh. not feelin jeezy- win joint. beat is slackin. hard.

    Excuse Me Miss....

free db. the relation? well, it's converse.

listening to the link you posted tom in one sec..........

edit: legendary weapons: pretty dope, but the beats a little low-key for me.

edit2: Not going to listen to the whole album at this juncture, though.

Such a smooth track, love to sit back and vibe to this. If only that entire album was as good as this song is. Tom dropped Be Easy too which is one of my favorite Ghostface songs. Ghostface may quite possibly be the most underrated rapper ever imo

I'd agree with that sentiment, especially to non-hip hop heads.

conversely, lil wayne is probably the most overrated rapper ever.

    J. Cole's Cole World: The Sideline Story

    Wayne's Carter IV was decent.

Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch The Throne was decent.

Tyler, The Creator's Goblin was good, but dark.

how far back are you talking about? cuz if you didn't cop Kanye West's My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, you missed out.

I think the last album I downloaded was Raekwon's "Shaolin vs. Wu-Tang". That was like maybe a year ago or so? Not a real big fan of weezy, jay-z or kanye tho. Tyler's stuff is pretty good although I really have only heard a few tracks. J-Cole tho idk him I'll have to check it out

do it, but beware of haters.

Here's Cole's video for Lost Ones. His video presence needs work [though apparently this was shot three years ago] IMO, but dope track and not a bad vid.

conversely, Drake's Headlines video is out if you ain't know. pretty good. dope song.

[his album's not out yet, of, if you ain't know.

    youkno?]
