    I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this is interesting. :D What do you guys think his role will be?

    Bothan spies have to be in Rouge One. They were integral in getting the Death Star plans. If they don't have a large presence in the film then it will seriously hurt the story in my opinion. Plus it will make me question just how dedicated the people in charge really are to the canon.

    Were Bothan spies only mentioned for getting the Death Star II plans? I don't remember them being mentioned for the first one.

    The Bothans stole the plans for the SECOND Death Star (in ROTJ). This film is about stealing the plans for the FIRST Death Star (in ANH). How do so many people keep missing this idea?

    Wrong Death Star. Bothan spies brought the Rebellion information about the second Death Star and its shield generator. All we know about the stealing of the plans for the first Death Star is that it was tied to the Rebellion's first victory against the Empire.

    I hope whatever the character look is, it has plenty of traces of his human face and expressions, which are great!
    And I don't know why, but his voice I'm already picturing his character from 28 Days. LOL!

    I would love to see a Twilek (sp?) as a main character... Pity they have gone with all humans. Well except Tudyk.

    Just speculating, will Tudyk be an already know alien species or something new, could he be a droid and not a living being? I wondered about him playing Zeb but I just can't see a Rebels character appearing in this.

    Of the known tall alien species could it be...
    Wookiee ? doubtful
    Lasat? possible, but not Zeb
    Trandoshan? would they work for the Alliance
    Quermian? I can't see it
    Gungan? not after Jar Jar

    What do others think?

    I'm hoping he is Cad Bane but those pics make that seem a lot less likely (Bane wasn't that tall in TCW).
