Wildly impressive @donaldglover wrapped his work on #UntitledHanSoloMovie last night. We're all gonna miss you Donald!

 

Man, Donald Glover has even out-Lando-stached Billy Dee. I wonder if the movie ends with Han and/or Kura telling him to shave? I all seriousness though, I like that they seem to have made the pre-existing characters recognisable, but not exactly the same as they appear in the OT.

Right. They're clearly saving a big Han reveal for later. Makes perfect sense.

 

I'm pretty excited to see a nice quality imagine of him in character, preferably alongside Glover as Lando.

 

I think Donald Glover is perfect for playing young Lando. I can't wait to see him in it!

 

My problem with him is that he's too problematic (he even deleted his twitter after made so much r*pe jokes but people has the screenshots). His show also made jokes against trans people, so I really prefer other actor

 

What happened to separating the art from the artist. Who cares what jokes he makes, it won’t affect his performance in this movie.

I'm really liking Donald Glover as Lando, he looks awesome. I hope in the next trailer or tv spot we can see him talking.

 

If Donald Glover is a cool in Solo as he looks I could get on board with a Lando movie.

He’s a character that could take to places he haven’t seen a lot of in Star Wars movies.

 

A Lando movie HAS to be where they are going with this. A Lando movie that flows out of SOLO, and then Han and Chewie turn up in the final act/sequence of LANDO, and that's where we get the "betrayal," or whatever negative thing went down between Han and Lando, at the very end, but despite Han leaving Lando hanging so to speak, Lando comes out on top, and his film ends victorious and it sets up Lando being a successful tycoon, maybe a mention of Bespin even at the end.

 

This looks like it was a perfect casting so far.

I hope the movie features a lot of Lando.

I doubt it. There's two other massive projects in the pipeline as well as more bankable characters to consider (Obi-Wan). Glover will be an old man before LFL ever get round to consider a Lando movie.

 

I'm not sure about Alden, but I'm loving all the stills of Donald Glover as Lando. They got the casting perfect.
