Solo [Official Info] Solo: A Star Wars Story - May 25, 2018

Well, Vader is in Rogue one, so...

 

He ceased to be Anakin Skywalker...... ;-). He may show up in Solo.

 

Don't forget Leia is in Rogue One.

And although Han is a Skywalker, he does technically marry into the family.

 

Yeah, there's Leia too.
But anyway, I hope Vader doesn't show up. If we need cameos from the OT, that better be Jabba, Greedo, Dengar and characters like that.
In the now Legends Han Solo Trilogy there are cameos from Vader, and even a little girl Leia in hologram.

 

I’m quietly optimistic that he will.

Rogue one featured both Anakin and Leia

 

(Thinks back to creepy Uncanny Valley Leia and cringes).

 

Maybe it's time to intoduce a cameo for the Alden-verse Leia.

Just a background character with the double buns, who will be more extensively used in later films.

 

Could do, then a Luke cameo in the Obi-Wan film and BAM...... a stand-alone set between ANH and ESB then Shadows of the Empire.

In some of the leaked images we see cars modified as speeders. We also see some motorcycles and riders who look pretty standard for a bmx style event. Do we know anything about these guys such as possible digital replacement or what they are supposed to be?

 

So is that leaked Solo image with the yellow showing Han and Lando etc a fake or officially real now?

 

It was always real, it just wasn’t made by Disney/Lucasfilm themselves. It must’ve been made by a license holder using official assets for merchandise, and it’s going to be all over the Legos and toys and whatnot.

 

Don't think they are actually onscreen. There is no evidence that they were in costume or that the top half of the motorbikes were disguised. Could just be there to check the course before the vehicles do their runs.

 

Ah, didn't consider that angle. Makes sense though. I'm still hoping they're placeholders for speeder bike type riders pursuing Solo and co. Perhaps they can work that 1995 SOTE swoop bike into the movies.

 

There were blueprints for speeder bikes drawn up for the movie but no clue as to whether they were hero vehicles or which location they appear at.

 

Star Wars Legacy is reporting on Twitter that the runtime for Solo is 143 minutes. I figure it's too early for them to have that info since they were working on pickup shots last week, but it is possible so I am passing it along.

 

I don't consider being faithful to the Saga, and it's Characters, as being "Fan Service".

I always figured Boba Fett would appear in the Solo movie. After seeing how well they used Darth Vader in Rogue One, I am sure they will use Boba Fett the same way for Solo. Introduce him in a small Scene at one point in the movie; then have him show up at the end, for an exciting action Scene.

Han had to stop at Alderaan for repairs. And the message was from Bail with a little Leia with him, greeting all incoming ships.
Seems like something Bail would do.
Han made a deal with an Imperial to limit the damage of an attack on Nar Shadaa.
Unfortunately, before Han could get away, Vader arrived on base. The Imperial put Han in a safe, and Vader killed the Imperial. Han just heard the breathing and part of the conversation. Didn't exactly know what was going on.

 

Yes, precisely, I am reading the trilogy again to see how different the new canon backstory will be.

 

Just picked out this bit.
Giving Boba his "Darth in a Corridor" moment could be a lot of fun. Using all his Batman gadgets to take down a Kanjiklub gang.

A good preview for the next Story.
