AICN's first fan review for TPM was extremely negative, this will prove the difference.

Yeah, I didn't have time to mention the music, but it was spectacular. I had goosebumps half the movie. It was that exciting!! The audience reaction was GREAT, and it was all old Theatre Owners!! And there is NO QUI GON whatsoever.

I thought so. Qui Gon was not in the print Harry saw either. I always thought they would have either shown Qui Gon or not at all.

 

mike, how was the rain duel between obi-wan and jango. is there good enough time devoted to this scene.

How about the chemistry between Anakin and Padme.....is it there?

 

I think one of the reviews that was declared a fake said there was no Qui-Gon voiceover either. I'm not implying that Mike's is fake, but that the others may have been real. Too bad, I was looking forward to hearing the voiceover. I don't suppose Lucas has a different print of the movie for the 16th and is hoping to leave Qui-Gon's appearence as a surprise. That would be cool. It seems like too important of a thing to cut. It really changes a lot.

I agree with Al, but if you don't have thick skin don't hang out in the cool-news talk backs. Very brutal!

 

The Jango Fett scenes were TOO SHORT!!! The fight with Obi Wan was pretty cool, but it gets blown away by the other fight scenes.

I'm glad there's no Qui-Gon.
To have him not disappear when he died and then to become one with the Force later is a bit sketchy. It'll be much easier for GL to explain later without a voiceover from a dead Jedi who didn't disappear popping up in AOTC.

Mike, in your opinion what was the most amazing jaw dropping sequence in the film? Which one still sticks with you the most?

From reading the screenplay, i'd only wish that picnic scene is not in the movie. It reads already pretty bad...

oh well cant have it all.

The love story was very believeable for the most part. I talk about it in the review. I liked it though.

 

Looks like AOTC is the masterpiece I wanted TPM to be. Better late than never.
