Well the good news is the pounding and screaming seems to have abated. The bad news is I didn't get any booze ...er... "nectar of Bakura."

In other news, it wasn't supposed to rain today. So I rode my bike to work. Now I have to ride back on wet roads.

BTW, BYOB: I could have sworn I saw you on your bike on the road as I was driving to work last morning.. but you were headed for 43N... I thought you worked closer to Hwy 100... strange...

    Anyway, another dream:
Last night I dreamed there was this deranged guy flying a Cesna and he was broadcasting down to me that he was getting art done for him by Kevin (who wants to become a member but never seems to get around to it)... and I kept thinking "he's gonna' crash!"

I ought to write a script--Maybe someone will pick up on my dreams and make them into a movie! :) Maybe I could play on Star Wars in a surreal way.

I had a dream once where a girl melted in my hands. Uh... not in a good way. She turned into a puddle.

And that's when the pygmies started throwing squash at me.

Commander: Guac 5, switch to targetting computer.

    Guac 5: Targetting computer on.

    Ghost-Ben: Use the Fork, Luke.

;) Like I could resist getting to use that line. :D

If you go to the World Superbike race at the Road America track in Elkhart, and you don't bother to bring sunscreen... you've nominated yourself to be a potential candidate to be elected a redneck.

I would say they're great, but once you've seen one little white box with a red x, you've seen 'em all...

Those "broken" images are where I'm storing the JavaScript to run the link.

Did I mention there's a hidden icon? Try to find it. [face_mischief]

I like the Vader/Threepio icon. Hamlet & Star Wars--doesn't get much better than that!

My favorite is the Trooper with the duckie on his head. Though the chlorine can't be good for the armor.

Mark Hamill is making a new, going-to-be-gawd-awful B-horror movie.

They're filming in WI. On my great-uncle's farm. For a month.

Guess who's already invited to the set?

    Mwa ha ha...

    Asking for some help here...

I've never been much into rollplaying games, but since a couple of people have told me that my user name sounds like something in the SW universe, and most likely like a Jedi, how do I develop a character for my name? Any suggestions?

    Thanks!!

(BTW, for those of you I told how I came up with Idaara, I also forgot to mention that Paramount (bless their stealing hearts), used my name in a Voyager episode (Flesh & Blood 2). They said it was Bajoran for "home of life". I've been using it since long before Voyager came out.)

Idaara, I have and still create characters for role playing. It's not very difficult at all, but it does take some thought, of course.

I've always started out with the race/species I plan on playing, and then that leads to a birthplace. From there, I develope a family history for the character (usually very brief and vague) and then a personal history (to include friends and significant events). After that, I just fill in the blanks until the character is ready for play. The rest gets developed during play (mostly personality, which sometimes reflects my own).

That's how I do things usually. Others may find it easier to do it another way, and you might not want so many details for your character when first starting out. It's sort of a personal preference thing. I'd be very happy to help out though. I have ICQ or we can PM each other, if you like. I check boards and email regularly throughout the day.
