Yummy indeed SWF! Yeah, I agree with you Shiri. To me, it seems like they haven't even talked about his Trials yet so he was caught by surprise when Qui-Gon just threw it out there. But of course, being Obi-Wan, he covered up for Qui-Gon by agreeing that he was ready for the Trials. Why can't all guys be as noble and good as Obi-Wan?

I feel sad for Obi-wan after Qui-gon died too!

Yeah, i'm sure Obi Wan felt a bit bad, but i think Qui Gon's death (as sad as it was) made Obi Wan mature even faster than he would have had Qui stayed alive , so i think that had a positive impact in the long run for him imo. So sad he had to endure losing those he cared for though

Man, the only fanfiction I read now is what's sent to the JWG. But that's like required reading for me.

 

I was never much of a fanfic reader.. but lately i'v found some cool ones involving the most wonderful jedi in the world (Obi Wan of course), and i've kinda gotten into it..

Shiri: if u read the one i posted before, i get the feeling u might cry (or i want u to, cause i almost did )

 

Well, the JWG is the writing wing of the Star Wars club that I'm in. So, I read everything that comes to me. Some really, really good. And some are just horrible. I mean horrible.

Heh, alright. I'll give it a read when I can.

 

aaah then u really must read a lot of those... yeah for sure i know some fanfics can be traumatizing .. i really dislike those that make the characters not act like themselves (of course, that applies to books aswell).

I set very high standarts when it comes to reading SW stuff, and specially Obi Wan and Han Solo, because i love those characters so much. Anything that puts them as not acting like themselves, is a no no in my book

 

Veloz, you would die if you read some of the stuff that I read every day. It's traumatizing.

I tried my best to keep Obi-Wan in character as much as I can. Or at least, I tried to hear him saying what I was making him say in my head. I messed around with him some, but not too much.

 

i certanly dont envy u Shiri, i can imagine all the scary stuff out there *shudders*

I think Ewan picked a great lightsaber for Obi in Ep I, dont u think? (i was gonna say it in another way, but i have to be careful when phrasing things cause Shiri's mind goes nasty inmediately)

 

There are a few good ones, though. I will give the good ones credit.

Yes, I love the hilt he picked out for TPM. It looked very cool. And yes, my mind goes gutter bound pretty easily.
