I know there is a whole forum dedicated to this cause, but I think it would be good for us to have our own thread for this. It will make it much easier to help each other out.

So If you need help/advice or if you have a costume and you like to post what it is then go ahead and post it here.

I saw the one's your thinking of. They looked great for Jedi Robes. Only one thin is it cheats on the inner tunic so you would have to change that, but other than that I agree D_A it ws a great pattern.

I bought this pattern Simplicity 9887. It was the closest i could find to Ankin's jedi robe at the time. Are there any better patterns now?

Actually that is the one I purchased also. It will work well. Make sure you do the custom work on the sleeves and hood. If you need to know what needs to be customized check at Amber's Jedi Meditation Chamber.com and at thepadawansguide.com both will give you the best information that I have found on the web.

Hi, I'm DarthRamos and I just joined the fan club. I was wondering if you might know of any places I could go to to make a jedi costum for me and my daughters. Websites or stores in Orange County and Riverside would also be helpful. Thanks.

For anyone who is making Jedi Robes. If you have the money I would suggest investing some of it in a really good lightsaber. The following is a website of a man who make them. They are the best I have ever seen. I actually own a defiance model. the web site is www.parksabers.com

It may take 8-9 weeks to get it but the wait is more than worth it. Also if you want to save up he is at the Comic-con in San Diego each year. So if you're interested in one of these then save up for it the Con will be from July 17 to the 20th of 2003.

    Just my 0.02

HERE is a really cool place for wookie costuming.

i don't know why anyone would want to dress up as a wookie, but it's the thought that counts, right?

    have fun!

Maybe I'll dress as a Wookiee for the Two Towers premiere LOL.

(It's a running joke with my friends. You dress up as something not related to the movie, so for star wars, you would come as an Elf or something :))
